Instructions for Working with the Archangel Oracle Cards

he archangels are very real, powerful, non- denominational angels who oversee the guardian angels. Think of them as the
guardian angels’ managers. Archangels are messengers from the Creator to the created, who help us with every area of our lives. They protect us and guide us, bringing about peace on earth, one person at a time. Because they’re so powerful, archangels
also motivate us to take action.
The archangels have no time or space restrictions, so they can simultaneously be with everyone who calls upon them. Archangels can have unique, personalized experiences and exchanges with all of
us.
Each religious and spiritual path has its own doctrine concerning the archangels. This deck is based upon 15 archangels from Jewish, Cabalistic,

Christian, Catholic, and Islamic ancient spiritual practices, texts, and beliefs. The cards feature their commonly used name, although some archangels are known by other names in varying paths. Please note that there are three different cards for each archangel. I’ve chosen artwork that portrays the way I clairvoyantly see each archangel.
In the General Meaning section of this booklet, I’ve described the functions of each archangel, the meaning of their names, and the aura color and crystal associated with each one.
Anyone can call upon an archangel. You needn’t say a formal invocation, have special education or religious training, or live a “perfect” life to elicit their attention. Just thinking an archangel’s name is enough to call one to your side. By using these oracle cards, you’ll get to know the archangels and develop a closer relationship with them, and you’ll learn the particular functions that each archangel fulfills. And when you hold the cards, you’ll automatically invoke their presence in your life.
The archangels are happy to help you with everyday life concerns. Since they’re unlimited beings, you needn’t worry that you’re pulling an archangel away from more pressing issues. The archangels work in concert with your guardian angels to effect healings, guidance, and miracles.

Conducting an Archangel Heading
There arc many ways to conduct readings using these oracle cards. You can’t make a mistake. Even a beginner can conduct wonderful and accurate readings. I’ve also infused these oracle cards with intentions and blessings to support the accuracy and healing effects of your readings.
Every card you draw is significant. You may not understand a particular card’s relevance until time has passed, so keep an open mind and pay attention to your intuition, thoughts, and feelings while conducting readings; Trust those impressions, and say them aloud when you’re conducting a reading for another person.
Begin by consecrating your new deck of oracle cards. First, hold the deck and touch each card to imbue it with your energy fingerprint. This helps the cards bond with you energetically. Next, hold the cards at the bottom, and spread the unheld portion of the cards out like a fan. Hold this fan of cards to your heart, with the pictures facing you.
Breathe deeply, while your heart fills the cards with your higher selfs loving essence. Mentally say a prayer to the archangels while this occurs, such as: “Dear Archangels, thank you for helping my oracle card readings be accurate, detailed, and fdled ivith blessings for

everyone involved. Thank you for helping me understand the deeper meanings of each oracle card reading."
Here arc the steps involved in an archangel card reading:
- 1. Ask a question. Do so mentally or out loud; the archangels hear you either way. If you’re conducting a reading for someone else, request that the person ask a question directed to the archangels, either aloud or silently. The question can be general or specific.
- 2. Shuffle the cards. Any shuffling method will do. As you shuffle the cards, mentally ask the archangels a question. Pray for the archangels to guide your reading. An example is: “BelovedArchangels, please help me clearly hear, see, think, and feel true Divine guidance. Please guide my reading so that it’s in the Light, is specific and accurate, and brings blessings to everyone involved. Thank you.” Ask the archangels to give you a sign when you’re supposed to stop shuffling. Trust when your mind or body tells you to stop, as this signals that you’ve just received a message from the archangels telling you to do so.

- 3. Lay out the cards. Take three cards off the top of the deck and lay them down, picture showing, from left to right. The card to the left shows the origination of the current situation. The center card describes the truth of the current situation. And the right-hand card shows its resolution or outcome if everyone’s thoughts and beliefs stay unchanged (outcomes can often be altered with a change of thought).
- 4. Read the meanings. Read the words on the cards, look at the cards’ artwork, and read the accompanying booklet. As you read, notice additional impressions the archangels may give you through your thoughts, inner words, visions, or feelings. These impressions help you personalize the reading to your particular situation, or the person whom you’re reading. Notice a theme, common denominator, story, or thread running throughout the three cards. Sometimes the card illustration contains important and relevant information, so also pay attention to its details. If the reading still doesn’t make sense, allow some time to pass while your angels help you understand its deeper meaning. Conflicting card messages can mean that you’re experiencing conflict, or that your thoughts and faith are wavering.

- 5. Intuition requires faith and trust in your ability to converse with the Divine. Everyone, including yourself, has intuitive abilities. Trust the accuracy of your first impression about how the cards relate to the question. Have the courage to state your impressions aloud to the person whom you’re reading for. If you keep asking the same question repeatedly, your card readings may become muddy. Repeating the same question is a show of faithlessness, and the readings will reflect this. Ask the archangels to increase your faith and trust in your intuitive abilities if this occurs.

As you continue working with the Archangel Oracle Cards, you’ll probably develop your own personalized methods. Here are some other ways:
Cut and Read Single-Card Method
Go through Steps 1 and 2, as described above. Instead of laying out cards from the top, though, cut the deck wherever you feel guided. (This means grabbing a portion of the deck with one hand, and

lifting it away from the remaining deck portion.) Look at the card on the inside of the top portion you lifted. This card’s meaning relates to the question you asked.
Card for the Day
In the morning, ask the archangels, “What would you like me to know today?” Then shuffle the cards and draw one card from the top. Carry the card with you throughout the day (or write down its words on a piece of paper) to remind you of the message.
Pendulum Method
Lay out the cards (either face-up or -down) in a circle. Stand in the middle of the circle and hold a swinging pendulum, such as a crystal attached to a chain. Ask a question and notice which cards the pendulum swings toward. Those cards comprise your reading.

Intuitive Method
After asking a question and shuffling the cards, say to the archangels, “Please tell me how many cards to draw from the top.” You’ll think or hear a number in your mind, or your body will tell you when to stop drawing cards. Lay the cards out from left to right, and notice how they correlate to the question.
Jumping Cards
If a card jumps out of the deck, pay extra attention to that card, and also to the card that immediately follows it.
Clairsentient Method
With the pictures facing down on a table surface, fan the cards so that a portion of each card’s back is visible to you. Ask a question. Then, run your hand along all the cards until you feel heat, warmth, or are simply guided to choose a particular card. Place that card face-up in front of you, and continue drawing cards using the same method. Lay the selected cards out from left to right. Notice your

physical and emotional feelings as you interpret the cards’ collective meaning in relation to your question.
Multi-Card Deck Method
Shuffle your Archangel Oracle Cards in with my other oracle card decks (Healing with the Angels, Messages from Your Angels, Healing with the Fairies, Magical Mermaids and Dolphins), and use any of the above methods. The Archangel Oracle Cards work especially well with other angel card decks.
Storing Your Oracle Cards
Your oracle cards are infused with sacred energy and intentions, so it’s best to keep them in a suitable location. Ask the archangels to help you find a special box, pouch, or altar to hold your cards. You may want to place a crystal on top of the cards to keep their energy high and clear.

General Meanings of the Cards
TT n the pages that follow, you’ll read descriptions of the archangels’ messages about each card in JLthe Archangel Oracle Card deck. The cards are listed in alphabetical order.
As you read each description, the archangels and your own guardian angels will give you addi
tional personalized messages, so it’s important to pay attention to any thoughts, visions, or feelings that come up as you read the descriptions.
As with my other decks, these cards are meant to be interpreted intuitively. This means trusting the impressions you intuitively receive during your card readings. The general meaning of each card is fairly specific. However, the finer details of the card meanings, as they apply to various situations, will shift. For example, the Healthy Lifestyle card might be a message to improve your diet or begin exercising; or an acknowledgment from the archangels about your presendy healthy lifestyle. The context of the specific meaning is always based upon the question or topic you asked the archangels about. So, always consider which question you’ve asked as you interpret the reading.
Sometimes the archangels respond to your underlying question or desire. For instance, if you’d like to know whether you’re getting a raise at work, but deep inside you really want to quit your job and become self- employed, the archangels will address your true wishes. This requires being completely and totally honest about your intentions and motivations during a reading.
And most of all, please trust your intuition and impressions as you conduct your reading.
About the Cards and the Guidebook
On each oracle card, you’ll find the title and the archangel’s name, along with a short message. Then in this guidebook, that information will be repeated, and you’ll also find an additional message, along with instructions on how to work with that particular archangel. (The card titles are in alphabetical order in this guidebook.)
Often, you’ll get enough information from simply reading the card, studying the artwork, and noticing your intuitive impressions. Consult the information presented in this guidebook only after you ve noted your intuitive responses to each card.

Working with Archangel Jeremiel: Each archangel has ,a specific aura color. Jeremiel’s is deep eggplant purple. When you see sparkles of dark purple light, this is one way to know that Jeremiel is with you.

Each archangel has a particular type of crystal aligned with their energy, and for Jeremiel, that crystal is the amethyst. When you wear an amethyst, you may feel even closer to Jeremiel’s kind and loving energy.
Angel Therapy
Archangel Raphael: “Give your cares and zvorries to us angels, and allow us to take your burdens.”
Additional Message: “Have you asked us angels for help with your situation? We can only help if you give us permission. Right now, close your eyes and take a deep cleansing breath. Then mentally call upon your guardian angels and the archangels to help
you. Don’t outline how you want to be helped; just tell us what situation you’d like help with. Most important, be open to receiving help as it comes to you. The help might be in the form of a hunch, an intuitive idea, or a direct intervention. If you receive any repetitive guidance, it’s important that you follow it.”

Working with Archangel Raphael: Raphael’s name means “Whom God heals,” and he is known as the healing angel in charge of physical healings for all living beings. Often, Raphael gives us Divine guidance (intuition, thoughts, ideas, dreams, and so on) about how we can participate in keeping our bodies healthy. When you call upon Raphael for a healing, pay attention to inner impressions, and be sure to

Compassion

Working with Archangel Azrael: Azrael’s name means “Whom God Helps,” and he helps those who are helpers. He’s particularly interested in helping counselors who work with the grieving or dying. Ask Azrael to guide your words and actions during counseling sessions, and he’ll help you remain patient and compassionate. He can also help you enter the counseling profession and guide you toward schooling, internships, and a wonderful counseling practice.

Additional Message: “In this situation, you need to act upon your convictions, even if others disagree. I’m protecting you from harm, and guiding you to be a loving warrior of light. As you stand up for your beliefs, you’re a role model for others. This is an important form of
spiritual teaching, in which your example gives others courage to also stand up for their own principles.”
Working with Archangel Ariel: Ariel’s name means “Lioness of God,” and she reflects these qualities, including bravery, courage, focus, and elegant movements. If you notice images of lions or lionesses, this signals that Ariel is with you. Call upon her to boost your confidence and courage.

Archangel Gabriel: “Make time to write down your thoughts in a journal, or pen an article or book.”
Additional Message: “Your soul longs for creative expression through writing. I can help you schedule this activity. Honor any inner nudges that guide you to write. The writing may be for your own enjoyment, or may be a cathartic experience of self-expression
in a private journal. As you work with your connection to the written word, you may receive Divine guidance to write articles or books for publication. Call upon me at any time to guide you through this process.”
Working with Archangel Gabriel: As the messenger angel, Gabriel loves to help writers and journalists deliver healing messages. Like a loving coach, she’ll urge you to delegate your time and energy toward writing. Gabriel can also open doors that allow for publication of your articles and books, if you’ll ask for her assistance. Most of all, she’ll help you enjoy writing.

Crystal-Clear Intentions
